Attachment Counselling
About the counselling service:
Attachment Counselling (Modified Interaction Guidance) is about helping parents
to become the best mom or dad that they can be. It is about learning how to help
children feel good about themselves, develop a strong sense of self-esteem, and
feel secure and confident in life. Building trust in a child starts during
infancy. It will make all the difference in how your child will relate to you
and cope with challenges as he or she grows older. It will have a direct impact
on how secure and emotionally ready your child will be for school and for doing
well in life.
Format:
You and your child are videotaped during play time, then, you and the counsellor
review the video from the perspective of "Watch, Wait and Wonder".
