Baby and Me

About the Program:

Baby & Me is for parents and their babies, from newborns to steady walkers. Parents will have the opportunity to interact with their babies, meet other parents and give their babies a chance to play with other babies. Early Childhood Educators encourage activities that help the babies reach their developmental milestones.

Public Health Nurses provide a Well Baby Clinic during Baby & Me, where they weigh the babies, provide information and answer any health questions and concerns that you may have.

A delicious and nutritious lunch is provided.

Format:

Baby & Me takes place every Wednesday morning from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Child Development Room. It is a safe, infant-friendly environment with age appropriate toys that parents and their babies can use together. With your permission, your baby will be videotaped each week so that you can watch him/her grow over time.

You and your child will graduate from Baby & Me once your child becomes a steady walker, and you will both move on to the TLC (Toddler Learning Club) program.

Registration:

This is an open, drop-in program and does not require that you meet with the facilitator first. Remember to sign up for the Well Baby Clinic when you arrive at the program!
