Right from the Start

About the Program:

The Right from the Start program is designed to help parents create a healthy loving relationship with their child.

Topics:

  • Attachment – What Is It?
  • How Do You Show Me That You Like Me?
  • I Am Unique and So Are You
  • I Don’t Like What You Are Doing Right Now
  • I Like What You Are Doing, I Need You
  • This Is What I’m Interested in Right Now
  • I Like Being With You

Format:

The Right from the Start program is once a week for 8 weeks. During the program, parents watch video clips of parenting errors and discuss how the baby must feel. Parents then give advice for the parent in the video and talk of the benefits to the parent/child relationship.
